Hello there and thanks for stopping by! 

I've always wanted to start a blog, but it never seemed to be the right time. I have many interests, but until now, I had no inspiration. The birth of my grandson, however, has changed all that. He is the reason I smile every day and the impetus for giving this blog thing a go!  

As a newbie (in the grandparent zone) my goal is to share my experiences in hopes that it will help others learn something new, bring some joy to your day, and perhaps provide a bit of comic relief from time to time.

When I am not blogging, my full-time gig is market research. I am originally from Illinois, but throughout my career I've resided in Colorado, New Jersey, and New York. Currently my husband and I live just about 20 minutes outside of downtown Chicago.
